How will teams farm points for champ

Anyone with a iq over 200 to explain to me how this ass system works? Which events give points and how many points is it needed? Not even the players themselves know how this works so im confused.
Teams that lost to 2nd place in their region, if they dont win madrid are they fked to champs?

the more you win, more points you gett

3 points for winning kickoff/madrid/stage 1/shanghai

1 point for each win in the regular season round-robin

so any one team can earn a maximum of 22 points, and there are 61–67 total points to divide among the teams in each region

these are all ways to get points:

3 points for winning kickoff, both masters events, and stage 1 playoff gf.

1 point for each win in only stage 1 and 2.

Now you might be able to get points in the stage 1 playoffs but I'm not entirely sure.
