Welcome to the clout era of valorant
823k viewers for the final of a REGIONAL event!
WhatADrag [#5]I am just curious, how much did CS tournaments had when its esports was just as old as Valorant esports is right now?

idk how you got that out of "Imagine how many viewers Masters will have"
SatanLovesYou [#11]I mean we talking like from 1.6 or csgo?
i guess cs go since its the most played ig
Btw APAC and EMEA fans, you guys join the clout party too
APAC broke their 2023 record by 70k (highest 462k this year)
EMEA destroyed their 2023 record by around 120k (highest 419k this year)
These numbers of course are lower than Americas by quite a bit but the substantial improvement is super promising

For a regional? Like 70k max. Still I'd call this a major LAN tournament which max you'd maybe get 300k to 700k in year 4 of the video game.
Where cs kinda shits on valorant is majors tho. Not really a contest

CSGO peak is 2.748.434 viewers @ Navi vs G2 - PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

That huge but provided that Valorant's only been in e-sport since 2021, It's pretty good compared to CS GO right?

It's in a healthy spot. Def bigger viewership in the states now. With NA being pretty dead in cs or well.... Anywhere not EU
It's not going anywhere like Overwatch. And it's doing way better than them console fps esports like cod and halo

i doubt valorant will keep up these numbers 5 years in the future
pickleguy483 [#12]idk how you got that out of "Imagine how many viewers Masters will have"

its possible seeing as riot has good experience with long term esports however i think it more depends on the esports industry in general if its able to stay stable enough
