doesnt matter if he wasnt head coach - tsm was HIS team and it still went to shit. he had input on teamplay and strategy as a former wc

wym HIS team
as an assistant coach he def wasnt able to input his system of running a team
he likely didnt influence roster moves or anything
all he did was likely strats and small tactical stuff
also again no english

Ok and he went to KC got the ability to build the roster while making the strats and being the actual head coach and now he's going to Madrid after beating the former best team in the region. Seems like when he's the actual head coach he gets shit done. All Good.

you and I both dont know shit about his responsibilities at tsm. stop assuming random counter points and accept it. no one is doubting his abilities as a coach, people go through slumps all the time. language was definently a factor, but it was his decision to go to america.

short term bias is real. consistency > peaks

Who is your top 3 coaches of all time then ?
bigboy [#11]short term bias is real. consistency > peaks
Yep, because you can definitely name five head coaches who made a team of 3 tier 2 rookies and a fresh IGL make an international event that only has 2 spots per region while also having this so called consistency you speak of.
Also, this you? https://www.vlr.gg/226774/edg-female-roster

i mean you can bring up my old posts all u want but you can keep twirling on a man whos never going to know who you are.
its definitely not easy, but it's definently not impossible to bring a bunch of cracked t2 players to LAN. off the top of my head mce and potter come to mind, and no one is calling them the greatest coaches of all time. (potter has potential)
its more like the players themselves are incredibly cracked, which could be argued in a coaches ability to scout new talent really well. but that still doesnt mean anything until theyve actually proven themselves on LAN.
They've might've beaten FNC, but is that because they're good, or because FNC fell off? we'll see in madrid.
