What makes NRG so good, they beat the two worst teams in Americas to get in playoffs . Why is people so high on them they didn’t even perform that good against them. And also how do you even know they are saving strats that sounds like a common excuse when losing to bad team

Ailed [#7]ppl think they are saving strats bc they played ascent twice when its obv a dodgy map for them, avoided raze maps, and ran little to no set plays on sunset/breeze
ppl are high on this team bc it has an insanely successful trio and the two best players from the team who won champs
I can understand that but they don’t look that impressive so far . Maybe they will show their form against sen to qualify for Madrid

Ascent: dodgy t half (expected from a team withholding strats on a ct sided map)
Sunset: much more decisive than it looked shouldve been 13-5 (c9 map pick)
Ascent: same as last time
idek i think this team is simultaneously getting extremely underrated by non nrg fans while nrg fans are being delusional. i dont think they are on loud/fncs level but the potential is 100% there and the game with sen will be very close but i think they will win

cuz they didnt play a good team. but we dont know what theyre capable of either. they played only 3 teams. sen dont know nrg game plan in 4/7 maps, whereas sen only didnt play icebox which they always perma ban. nrg have soo much to work with while sen doesnt. that makes them very scary

Explain how the format saved sen 😂. They got put in the hardest group , lost their first match to loud and then won 2-1 to the other two teams ( which are not bad teams). They won playins cus they knew they were the better team there.
