if they win a map, the worst they can do is 3-2, and the best G2 can do is 3-3 (and MIBR is stuck at 2-3), so theoretically they should advance if the tiebreakers work as expected

They already beat mibr and mibr beat g2, even if g2 beats them 2-1 they will beat them in map differential

If you were around last year, you would be familiar with the format that is going on right now. (except this one is on a much much smaller scale) Basically, the idea is all 3 teams (mibr, g2, and sen) play each other and whoever gets the most wins gets to play in the next phase. Easy right? But what happens if there is a tie? Then it goes to map differential (basically who won the most maps comparatively (like +1 maps)). However, Sentinels won their first game 2-0, so if they won one map and lost the rest, they would be at 3-2. MIBR is at 2-3 and G2 would be at 3-3. Because sentinels would be +1 in maps, they would make playoffs! Hope this helps :P
