How was Americas the first region to start kick off, but we don’t even have play-ins until today… Meanwhile Pacific started later but already finished their entire playoffs

You're not wrong. For some reason Americas got 3 days off while Riot decided you know what, let's speed run Pacific. Not against breaks but if Americas get a break then I feel the other 3 leagues need to get that too. But the scheduling has been done what's the use complaining about it now

It’s because Americas is more popular and wants to use the weekends to juice the viewership

most popular region + top viewership + weekend to get most people + more money from advertisers

as a viewer i prefer the americas schedule a lot more tbh, more spaced out games instead of a large break followed by a speedran tournament

wish the whole VCT schedule would follow the former for the rest of the year
