Pretty much guaranteed qualifications to playoffs
Obsidian_Echo [#2]so will fnc and edg, right? same logic
EG new roster not sure tho lmao
Yeah fnatic and edge will be their number 1 seed and chances are eg might also still be in the number 1 seed
B1itz [#3]People are just making things up at this point thats not how the seeding works
It's based on the champs standing.
Kirya [#6]it wasnt confirmed tho

If we're following with what this says then it should be like that

Each region's best squad — their highest placed team at Champions — will be put into that group, which will be played in a modified GSL bracket. The seeding details are not clear — they are “based on 2023 performance” — but it is safe to assume
It doesnt say anything abt 10th seed also being in that group.

It's from the graphics from riot.

I love when people just link things without actually reading it, Riot hasnt said anything about how seeding works other than the top team from champs gets the bye. It would make way more sense if it was random or they used a normal seeding system like every single sport and Val event
"The region’s top team, the highest placing team at Champions 2023, will be placed in the group of 3 with a bye to the second round
The remaining 10 teams will be sorted into pools based on 2023 performance and drawn into the remaining 10 slots"
So they're not putting all the decent teams in Bracket A and all the mid teams in Bracket B
Prathades [#9]It's from the graphics from riot.
what graphic? literally what the fuck are you talking about they havent said anything about seeding
B1itz [#12]what graphic? literally what the fuck are you talking about they havent said anything about seeding
he means the image of kickoffs format in the article that says "team #1, team #2, team #3"
but its prolly just for visuals, it would be really dumb for 2-5 seeds to be in the same group

Yeah all we can assume is #1 of each region will be in the same group as the ascended team

They are using a pool system thats what they said in the original post, those are just placeholder names for the actual teams
