Wdym? Solo leveling is just light manhwa with spectacular Art that is a joy to read/watch? I don't expect high tier story? Its just the art and the joy that is hype me up to watch this
The story for that manhwa is so fucking mid. Absolutely hard carried by the incredible art. Perhaps the anime will improve the writing, but I highly doubt it.
I mean, for me Solo leveling is a light manhwa that is just a joy to read, not like ORV or TBATE. Solo leveling is a light manhwa with a spectacular art, therefore I expect a lot from the anime adapt
TBATE is among one of the best for me. I think Solo Leveling is really fun to read due to the concept and the art.
Its story might not be great, and its characters might not have too much development, but I agree with you that it is a "light manhwa that is just a joy to read".
It's so enjoyable to read imo. I plan on re-reading the webnovel when I have time.
The novel was way better than the manhwa. While the manhwa is better than the anime. The reason why I said the novel is better is because it tells us how and why he the main character does what he does.

I don't know why but the charector design doesn't sit right with me i was hoping for a more korean style animation but its alright
Its from japanese production sooo they give like a little japanese style animation sadly
The directing is not that good with the scene changing every 2 minutes, I know it is for establishing a later arc but the way they execute it is just not interesting it's like passing by. 7/10
