It translates to "I had a big job that went all the way overseas, but suddenly my plans were cancelled."

GenG had a blow up in CN community when they called Taiwan a "country" when they held an event in Taiwan.

GENG quickly retracted his remarks and apologized, but this apology post also problematic and followed by firestorms in Taiwanese and Korean communities.
South Koreans sarcastically called GENG a "Chinese spy", leading to various protests in the three countries.
As a result, many of GenG's team activities have been suspended.

pretty sure it just got cancelled because of the event being planned too close to the start of VCT.

Also, some teams wanna take time to prepare for VCT and of course EDG players wanted a break so they probably cancelled attending the event.
