How to fix everything wrong with Valorant
WEAPON BALANCING
Shotguns
- Bucky less dmg/pellet (Not really necessary, just fuck the gun)
- Give judge the original 7 rounds, decrease rate of fire and decrease dmg/pellet (or just delete it)
Snipers
- Decrease marshal body dmg to 90, still a one shot headshot. (Im tired of seeing ugly ass antieco clips)
- OP is already in a good place, but a change I'd like to see is that the gun doesn't get accurate immediately after letting go of movement key, making counter strafing actually necessary. (Wouldn't mind getting this on every gun)
- Don't release the new gun (already too much to work with)
Pistols
- Decrease sheriff body dmg to 40-45, but it can still one shot headshot below 30m (making headshots matter more, esp on pistol rounds)
- Decrease ghost shooting error
Rifles, SMGs and LMGs are fine imo, maybe increase the spread and spray of the phantom, too many crouch sprayers.
MAPS/MAP POOL
Pearl
- Delete Pearl, I know it's not in the pool but I don't think there is a way to make it enjoyable to play or watch.
Ascent/Haven
- Maybe a hot take but, either Ascent or Haven should stay in the pool indefinitely. I get that they can get stale, but I think these maps are a good benchmark to compare teams with. Also would be nice for infrequent players to always have something familiar to come back to.
Breeze
- Make Breeze halls somehow useful again
Lotus
- I dont know if it's limited to Lotus, but some parts of the wooden boxes are spammable with medium penetration and some are not, just fix it to be consistent all throughout the boxes.
- Make C-site "safe plant" unspammable with high pen, it's already very open.
- Mound's awkward shape makes the wall banging weird and inconsistent so just make every gun unable to penetrate it.
I don't have a lot to say for all the other maps.
AGENTS
- Make anything that flies and has a hitbox have 30 hp at most, so you can break them in one hit with rifles.(Just frustrating)
Deadlock
- Trips activate from line of sight, but stun takes longer to activate, and the area is slightly smaller
- Make wall act like a cypher cage so you can activate it after throwing it, but lower the hp by a lot, otherwise way too op.
Jett
- Give her 2 updrafts
Omen
- Either revert the previous change regarding his blind, or just make it faster overall.
Neon
- Walls deal damage to enemies.
Phoenix
- Wall does not deal damage to teammates.
Skye
- Revert the previous dog change but just lower the overall range.
Harbor
- Cove disappears immediately after it is broken. (I hate it)
Kayo
- Fix knife pls
Chamber
- Maybe controversial but make the trip global. Could possibly deny the upcoming cypher meta a bit.
- Lower Headhunter bodyshot dmg to 40-50, but still a oneshot headshot.
CAP THE AGENT AMOUNT TO MAX 30 AGENTS
- Valorant is still a bit too much to learn for a new player so I can't imagine that it would be enjoyable having to learn
200 different agents abilities later on.
EVERYTHING ELSE
- Implement some sort of an endorsement system, so similarily endorsed players get the same games. This could kill the que times, but it would be a good experiment.
- Make players choose their preferred communicating languages, and have them que similar ques. The filters don't have to be set in stone, but as a Stockholm server player I wish that I could get a team that comms in english for once.
- Double the amount of skins in the daily shop, it has been 4 skins per day forever and the amount of skins in this game has probably more than doubled already.
- No blue/green skins in nightmarket, they're already cheap and literally no one buys them.
- Replay system pls
