EDG is literally a chinese organisation, it's not a surprise that they are using websites like weibo... after all most of their fanbase would be in China.

The majority of citizens in asia and especially china arent using twitter

i'd say the reason SEA prefer ML is the fact that the gameplay is just simple as fuck.
no need to creeping, no need to warding, and it goes so fast than any mobile moba except pokemon unite.

LoL literally came first but not really big in SEA. it was all Dota2 in SEA.
except if you are thai or vietnamese, you can't really go pro as LoL player.

By nature EDGS lineup is purchased by EDG (former O3O), The relationship between EDG.valo and EDGS is not as strong as EDG.valo and EDG.lol. EDGS has the only account on Weibo. On Bilibili all game results are presented on Yusin's personal account, and on twitter there's also no account.

The same owner but not the same weight of management, I think. I could not tell the differences in details because all I heard of are just hearsay. EDG and EDGS have the same except the social media in X and Bilibili in my eyes.
