be good if they sign Ethan and Demon1, the team has no IGL and because of that would fail hard, you can have tons of raw talent on a team but none of that matters if you dont have an IGL. Look at Sentinels who had 5 incredible players last year but still did terribly due to having no IGL, or look at KCorp(no explanation needed)

1. Crashies and Victor both support mid-rounded on OpTic/NRG so they could IGL
   Thats not how IGLing works, IGLing is way more than just occasionally making a call off of info you collected, its looking at the map at a large scale, micro-managing your players while also being forced to read what the opponents are doing, and while doing all of this you also have to worry about not dying and supporting your team
   Thats just in the game tho an IGL also has to worry about being an emotional leader and helping you and your team not get tilted so they can win, people who arent natural leaders cant IGL. An IGL is also responsible for prepping tons of new strats, ideas, anti-strats, comps, etc, before matches and practices

   Paper Rex have a unique play style that NO OTHER TEAM has EVER been able to replicate, at some point some team might be able to replicate it but it isnt gonna be NRG, OpTic/NRG is the antithesis to everything PRX is, while PRX is chaotic, fast and random, NRG is slow, methodical and planned. Every thing NRG does is thought out and done like a machine, the OpTic core, especially Chet, would never want to or be able to replicate PRX style gameplay

Allat + marved IGL clears everyone but sadhaak + demon1 is the best player in the world + Ethan is the best initiator

its impossible to predict but im 99% sure we're definitely not gonna get another 2023 EG with this roster and not just because of the IGL issue. Ethan & Demon1 are bound to have different views to the game thanks to their smart af coaching staff that Marved & friends probably wouldn't agree with, and that issue is a lot bigger than you would think. There's gonna be calls and strats that have to be balanced between the two cores that probably won't end up meshing well ingame as it would on paper.

Another issue is balancing out the strengths and weaknesses of their draft as well. EG cooked up an entire roster of flexes minus Ethan to create the perfect drafts for them on each map, it's why their map pool this year was insane. Marved & friends don't have that kind of flexibility, so shits gonna either be forced into them or thrown out the window for a more stable roster, either way it's gonna be shaky.
