Spider-man 2

It was fun and I enjoyed it, but am I crazy for saying its only a 7.5/10? It just didn't wow me like insomniac's first spider-man game. Like, take the batman arkham games for example. Each game was more impressive than the last, and the boss fights were mostly all unique and engaging. Spider-man 2's boss fights are so repetitive, they all have 4 health bars and nothing really changes between each phase in their forms or attacks. It's just dodge, mash square, and spam venom moves for every single boss.

The most impressive feature is the load times and visuals imo. The story was solid, but nothing that blew me away.

I hated post game only

Watching the game ill say the characters look bland and i also dont like how he has the best tech of all time in the game, suddenly when its the mcu peter parker cant use iron man tech, but in insomniac he can create better technology on his own without money to pay rent?

Also miles feels written by 5 white men unlike spiderverse miles who feels genuine.

I havent played the game itself so i cant talk on the gameplay just the story bits.

Also why is Peter so unfunny and more corny in this game in the first one he was awesome but in this one he goofy as shit.

SPOILERS BELOW (i only watched the story through yt)

the gameplay (web-swinging and combat) seems much more fluid and faster compared to the first one
story of the 1 was better imo, felt much more connected to the doc. octopus arc, also there wasn't any plot twist on the second game (we all knew that harry was gonna be the venom)
the story of the second game isnt bad at all, but i think it should've been longer, i wish they had explored more of kraven and bully maguire :(
for some reason miles morales became the goat, i dont think there was a single time on this game that he got his ass beaten
on the other side peter became a sandbag, on every possible opportunity he would get absolutely slapped
the power level increased A LOT, the final battle seemed like 3 gods fighting each other (this isn't a bad thing, but it kinda drifts away from the spiderman that we know)

i think the first game was much more consistent overall, the second had a lot of questionable things, and things that they could've done better
