do people still play that game? is there a competitive league for it?
Yeah it’s really fun to play imo
A lot of ppl stopped watching owl after Covid and allat shit
Its still really big playerbase wise and can find games fast in most ranks. There isn't in-game league if you mean that and you just have to play ranked. When it comes to esport their tier 1 league (Overwatch League) season just ended and was the final season of that league. No idea what is going to happen to its tier 1 esport, but there will likely be some sort of new system. Overwatch World Cup main event is going to start at end of this month.

from as early as high diamond queue times are really long

really long is a little exaggerated, masters queues are like 2-3 mins for me. GM queues prob long though
The esport is a bit up in the air at the moment, with OWL ending.
The Overwatch league had a lot of issues though, one of the big ones was the fact it had alienated a lot of regions.
The Overwatch World Cup is good though, that starts at the end of the month.
(though South Korea will win)
