Technically if u manage to get an amazing timing on ur lurk u can wall off ur enemies on the other side of the map and delay for a good 10 secs while ur team plants the bomb on the other site.

no more heals no more revives , and the wall last max 4 seconds (unless they are on pistols) you will also lose map control that other sentinels provide
Kevn [#6]honestly not a horrible idea, but it’s a very niche play. the only map i can see there being good value would be like maybe ascent or split and for both the lurk would have to commit super deep.
it could work on bind too with how narrow ct becomes. Ur team can tp too and plant it faster than say ascent or split and u could stall for longer

_snor_ [#13]That's why people have slow orb lineups while attacking to Stop the defenders also sometimes wall is used like on bind to get plant down. So i don't see the need to get Perfect lurk timing here

your head is in the right place, delaying the rotate is very good, but think about it, sage can do those things with the team and offer heals and even more so, if youre doing it on a site hit youre going to get consistent value versus a lurk not always going your way :)
like on ascent, you dont need to go top mid and lurk and slow off cat, you can do that from a main with the team, haven, instead of slowing a link thru b as lurker, you go A with team and just slow spawn and slow the rotates that way and be there to help and heal
