the majority of Indonesian FPS players are CS/PB players to begin with, they switch out because how dead their respective game are. then again Valorant came out at the right time and at the right place (Indonesian Internet structure became much better) and how easily people get an easy access of information e.g: online newspaper, media socials, etc
doesn't help NXL (most successful Indonesians CS team atm) is too fucked up and way too pussy. remember Banteng? got sacked because he got, allegedly, caught cheating in the past (I mean come on s1mple is a cheater too in his teen year). way too support your up coming talent

MOBA is the popular is true but how is that correlate to CS vs Valorant lmao, because Indonesians Moba player are split into Mobile and PC and while on PC the hardcore moba players rarely play FPS. mobile are different they usually play BR on their mobile and so how is this correlate to CS vs Valorant. the difference is too extreme, unless he only spout some bullshit for the sake of it

People who previously played dota(dota was very very big in Indo around 2015-2019, but kinda dead rn in Indo ) kinda moved to valorant, at least 90 percent of my friend who used to play dota now plays valorant cause they hate league and prefer valo who has agents with their own skills.
And I think the timing of valorant release in 2020 is one of the big reasons too when people who used to play dota quits, they move to the second biggest genre which is tac shooter and they prefer valorant more than csgo

VALORANT is like the 2nd most popular PC game in the US, a ton of asian kids at my HS play val or used to play val and I would say it's even more popular than league in NA
