Does tex even speak spanish? Will leviatan even speak spanish? Did aspas ever speak spanish?
This team confuses me.
koromast [#3]they are swapping the language to english according to the ceo since their players speak english, doubtful and bad for short term but hopefully it works long term and i´ll wish good for them because i like the players but i think the project will be harder to handle than people think it will.
yep. At least they will be one of the first teams to have completed their roster so now lev has a ton of practice for next season. I don't think the communication issue will be that bad for lev but we will see.

no no, it wont be bad long term (lets say after madrid they will definitely have it figured out or atleast i wish it is) just short term, i think saying they have madrid on their pocket is doubtful for example.
Simp4Stax [#7]Wtf aren’t they getting Aspas?? Role issues incoming kkkkk
unless tex is great on sentinel yeah role issues are incoming

Honestly FNC is a team filled with Russian + English(IK its different but they are second languages), PRX mixed, NAVI has an IGL in his second language, T1 had a lot of success. It works and is like that in a lot of games, and this is gonna be the major beginning. You see a player like Aspas available, you work around that and become a more flexible team.

They should’ve gotten leaf

its different because those roster were built to speak english since day 1, all of t1 speak english, all of fnc speak english (and fnc only has chronicle and derke spoke english since 2020) on prx everyone speak english before joining the team, ange1 igled since 2020 so he is more experienced on that than any other that is willing to swap rn and all of that examples arent close enough comparisons to say it will work on short term, specially since those rosters spend a long time before starting to win and got a lot of roster changes before that success (the only one who did well was t1 but everyone was already on a english roster before anyways)

It's almost like the SEN situation but worse. Since it's three people that need to get used to speaking English this time (Aspas' English is good so I don't count him)

I mean the team had to get a new coach and HAD to replace taco. There's a core but if Kingg is up for it they're bringing in a new coaching staff and likely playstyle anyway with Aspas. You're gonna have to swap languages anyway but bringing in one more is good because it makes transition easier, they just have to be more of a leader type IMO. I'm more just wondering why they choose Tex, not Leaf/Aproto/an IGL with more experience and will be better.

they could´ve signed fns and s0m (since mazino wasnt comfortable on controller) that way kingg can frag more and you get a top 3-5 controller itw

Cant be compared, In europe u cross the street and is already in another country of course people is going to develop a second language to comm with others, LATAM is basically spanish and portuguese speakers and we can understand each other atleast 50% without never studied the language
