Pick up Leaf for and take a chance on some unknown IGLing talent from t2/t3 for a split until the mid season transfer window opens up and then get Screwface or boostio (if the risky pickup doesnt do good) who's contract will have expired by then

Even if the first part to your statement was true, there's almost zero good Sentinels in NA, that's why its usually up to the IGL to fill the role
