Gender aside, does anyone believe she's even close to tier 1 level? Like anyone at all? Like even a sub level?
I don't think she's even ascension level, nor anyone from GC. I remember Bob was actually so mid in a mid tier 2 and team that could never have made it to ascension and no one even know who this player was, then they went to GC and was better than anyone.
Maybe it's true that some players are sexist and horrible human beings, but there's no world where meL nor florescent nor any gc player is franchised level for now.

impossible to know. she hasn't been on a proper t2 roster.
i think she's good enough that some challengers roster could pick her up this season to test it out

Bro she got eliminated from challengers qualifiers against 4D.
I have no idea who is any player on that team, they're probably just some random immortals, if you're losing to 4D I don't think any team who wants to compete for ascension should pick any of them up

How can we determine if she's franchise/ascension level if no teams will try her out and she's stuck competing in GC where there's no clear path towards improving?

Not saying she is T1 material, but we nor teams will ever know her skill ceiling (or any other GC players) if she's stuck playing GC only.

So a franchised team should pick up a gc player whos is at the moment not at that level hoping they improve with the right environment while other teams pick up nismo, eeiu, aspas, yay...?

I'm not saying she should be picked up, I'm saying she should'nt be denied tryouts just because she is a woman, which is the issue at hand.

She should be denied tryouts cuz she's not good enough, you think teams should waste time trialing meL and gc players instead of M80, Faze, moist moguls... players? There's too many proven to be way better than mel players on NA

By that same criteria Runi shouldn't have been chosen for C9 'cause his previous team was terrible.

If a team is holding open try outs, she should be allowed to try out just like any other option. Is as simple as that. Let the tryout results speak for themselves instead of denying her a trial just for having a p**sy.

You brought out runi as if he won them champions, they didn't even get to an international event with that guy, and that was mCE's gamble which he's known for and it didn't work out that well.
If teams open tryouts yeah i think she should get a chance, but most teams tryout like 3-4 players and pick one, and meL shouldn't be one of those 4 if u want to compete.
Btw, EG did an open tryouts and that's how they picked up demon1, i doubt she would have succeeded that tryout just from a mechanical standpoint

yeah idk why vlr overrates gc players so much. flor and meL get farmed by t3 valorant on the daily. surely any franchise level players could at least win a mickey mouse tournament
