yeah but sooner is always better than later lol and I’m sure players want to spend as least some of the players want to actually take a break with their families over Christmas etc.
it’s better to have rosters sorted early when the best players are still without contracts and you don’t have to get locked into a roster that you’re unhappy with when the season starts
