I dont think people think V1 will farm in tier 2 or tier 1 as a team, but Mel as a player is good and an IGL so its understandable to be mad at not getting a trial.

I don't think it's got to do with her skill, and I absolutely agree that she's good enough to play with T1/T2 teams, but it's probably more comfortable to play with another dude.

moreoever it wasnt stated if she was going to igl with these team cuz imo only 1 maybe 2 teams that played in NA(not counting LATAM or BR teams) last year has a better igl then her, if she wasnt going to igl then its a different story but i could name at most 3 to 5 players who i would replace her with.
all in all, from how i see it, if you deserve to be on the roster you will doesnt matter what gender race or background you are from. no one owes anyone anything and you cant say someone 'deserves a spot' thats not how the world work. when she gets a fair chance and im sure she will then she will get her chance to prove herself but of course it sucks that she got denied trials cuz she is a woman.

you do realise that trialling people takes a lot of effort, time and resources right? it’s taking away from practise and scrim opportunities, you’d have to do deep dives to discuss contracts, plays etc, it can be often go on for like weeks
It’s not as easy as “just give them a trial for the hell of it”

we live in a meritocracy, if the girls make it to T1 it should be by their own skill and ability and effort rather than a dumb rito scheme to be artificially more inclusive

I'm sure meL has atleast trialed for mens T2 teams before, otherwise it would be absolutely egoistic to just hop straight into franchising which is supposed to be the worlds best 165 pros from around the world. And if she had succesfully trialed in some t2 teams she would've atleast gotten a chance by now no?
