Victor and crashies are kinda overrated all these nrg super team talk sentinel literally have better flex/initiator like zekken/sacy and c0m/jawgemo/ethan ,leo / chronicle initiator like cauanzin shao zest are much better and they never perform when it matters some random high kill games when their team is performing better as a whole

😡
Crashies best initiator NA
Victor 2nd best flex NA (after ethan)

You would really rather have zekken and sacy than victor and crashies?

why do ppl consider ethan a flex? he's literally the least flexible member of EG lmao.

Ethan plays initiator on almost every map and yoru on 1 map
Demon1 plays duelist on multiple maps and multiple controller agents on multiple other maps
boostio plays both sentinel and controller on multiple maps
jawgemo plays both raze and controller on multiple maps
c0m plays both controller and initiator on multiple maps

If you are talking about pure skills yes chemistry wise crashies/victor but in the end if you shoot heads you win so I’ll go with zekken and sacy

Lest be real, crashies and victor both definitely shoot heads better than sacy

And Valorant is not as high skill of a game as cs
everyone is so close mechanically which is why mechanics dont matter as much

Too inconsistent imo he is pretty good on raze as I said few high kill matches might have boom the stats but as flex there are better players like jawgemo zekken jingg

I disagree there is a gap between player like alfajer,demon1,aspas,leo and shao etc I cant believe you can say there are close mechanically to other players their movement aim is different

Yea obviously there are a few exceptions (Demon1, Aspas, Alfajer, Less, FNS)

But overall, everyone is very similar mechanically and games are rarely if ever decoded by mechanics. This game is just easy to master mechanically.

Besides like 5-10 players IN THE WORLD

Everyone is very similar mechanically and the better tactical team will win

There are more than 10 players who are insane mechanically but thats just another topic point is there are better player in their particular role and they only perform when their team is performing good when they have plan ideas etc

well if they are the best players on the team it wouldn't work but if you have star players they are the perfect compliments

Sure but why do you think Victor and crashies have been at the top of the scene for so long?

You really think they were just carried?
Obviously not they are top players in their role

There is a correlation between team’s success and team’s quality of players

If crashies and victor are truly worse than so many other players in NA, why have they always been apart of the best/most consistent team in NA

Why do they always beat teams that are using your logic, better than them mechanically

If you watch the games, Victor and Crashies consistently win 1v1 duels against the players you claim to be better mechanically

Ethan has always been the flex player on every team he has been on

And also flex is usually designated for the second initiator/non recon initiator

Never said they are worst player I said they are not the best in the role there is difference

As for this year they had some insane plans and ideas but when they ran out of creativity (as per chet) you can see nrg performance my point is they are good but when they have plan and structure when team is struggling no one is stepping up

You can believe what you wanna believe if you think they so much better why they lost 0-4 to billi billi?

Again am not saying they are bad people like you who think they are top of the game which they are not

bro ethan is flex player eg roles are weird but he can play whatever agent they need him to play he used to be smokes for 100t then sage switch to flash/flex then played some sova for nrg so yea it counts as flex

only yay on chamber was outright better than other duelists during optic era. everyone else individually were not at the top. But, they were the better team in every scenario. Their micro decisions were almost perfect, their trading, their util, is one of, if not the best. Individually, they're not good. Same with EG team, if you take them individually, only demon1 comes out on top BUT as a team, they are unbeatable. I think you're technically right there are better initiators BUT there are not many better players who work within the team well.

its like prime astralis isnt it? individually navi. TL, or faze clear them but as a team, they beat everyone. Its just hard to rate them when you elevate teams that much but cant perform when you go to another team. So, some tend to overrate them, some underrate them. Its best just to use context for these kinds of players rather than a single statement to define them.

You are right but here is my point Nrg in the start had rough start but when they got used to meta and had vods to prep they performed pretty well but when they ran out ideas / creativity (as per chet) you can see the difference in performance whenever they perform they play like a team but when they are struggling no one steps up as individual
they are great team player but am saying there are better player in their particular role hope you got my point and in not anyway am saying they are bad

I never thought you said they were bad. Also, I agree not just the strats but it seems they didnt improve on their mechanics or the meta. They got lazy.
