Fnatic lost because they play too "by the book"

I think there's no doubt about the skill level of these players, but it seems more and more that VALORANT isn't always win by the "textbook" team with the "standard" playstyle.

Look at the teams in the top 3: EG have their cracked out duelist on smokes on some maps, run sova on fracture and pearl, have their kayo/Skye player randomly on yoru. PRX needs no explanation. LOUD run harbor viper comps, triple controller on bind.

FNC play standard, boring, heavy default or set exec only with Alfa late lurk on basically every map. Standard comps, almost always 1 initiator 1 initiator/viper 1 sentinel 1 duelist 1 controller.

They lose many rounds with man advantage . That wasnt textbook playstyle by any mean. They lose 3v1 vs Tuyz because of bad trading

fnatic stopped innovating like they used to do a lot which made them too predictable imo

Other teams found the time. EG broke out the yoru on pearl, DRX broke out the yoru on bind and 13-1'd them. They had time, they just didn't have the balls to play anything funky
