She just needs 2 3 buffs like Harbor. Remember how Harbor was considered weak and then got minor tweaks and people still thought he was unplayable but now almost everyone runs hims on pearl, bind, icebox(before it was gone) and he’d be a great pick in Breeze as well cause of his long walls.
I think Releasing Weak agents is better than releasing Broken ones. You can do minor tweaking and they’d become playable.
What do you think could be some of the buffs for Deadlock
I think they have to do something to allow her to actually control space, bc as she is now her role is incredibly niche, she is so good at stopping fast rushes at her site but if a team defaults or contacts through space, then she is basically useless. Lurkers have free reign all over the map with her playing, so I think a buff for her has to be making her proximity detect people in the space. Maybe make it so if the mine sees someone it pings and then if noise is made it does the stun. This makes her better on attack as she can now watch flanks, and on defense she is slightly more viable as solo sentinel since she can passively hold space
I'd say probably the sound queue for her traps is the biggest issue, anyone in higher elo knows how to play around them pretty easily so they only work as a stall for a site hit, you botssi can't really rely on them to hold flank or cover a gap in your setup on defense. If I was botssi going to buff deadlock I would probably rework those traps. Also her grenade just seems like a worse molly since it has the same throw mechanic, because a molly forces the enemy out of a position but her grenade keeps them trapped but it doesn't do damage and then botssi you still have to swing in to clear the player, so it doesn't eliminate the corners you have to clear on a site hit. I would probably rework how that grenade works, if you could curve it around corners like a skye flash that might make it a botssi lot more versatile.
