NGL either gambit or SEN
Somehow SEN managed to constantly get into the worst possible scenarios known to mankind the whole time after Iceland, even before that right before the first strike tournament Shahz's dad passed away and the team didnt prac for like 2 weeks straight.
I think it easily goes to SEN esp with how 2022 went for them, even when the org would allow them to keep consistent teams and players there would always be smth wrong

Not being able to pick up Kaplan cause the org wouldnt pay (pre-champs 2021)
Tenz getting sick again
Shroud zellsis pick up that they only gave the team a month and a half to work with
Backstabbing shahz and dapr on the franchising roster and reducing sick to bench
Picking up Dephh (ngl worst one of them all)
Sick mental health

last year’s Champs group they were with LOUD and OpTic (both grand finalist) and this year’s group with Fnatic and NRG
they always had to deal with two teams who are rated highly to make it deep in the tournament. just unlucky

Iceland I can see because of the FPX and FNC situations, but which part of Copenhagen or Tokyo was lucky for Optic/NRG?
In Copenhagen, they had Guild (Leo, Sayf, trexx) and Loud and KRÜ in their group, who were all competitive. Group B had two bottom feeders in Xerxia and Northeption (no disrespect to those teams but group A was def harder). I don't see anything particularly lucky happen to them during that run.
And in Tokyo again, they had the better of the two EMEA teams in their group, and the far better one of the two Chinese teams. So again, slightly more difficult group. And then they immediately drew FNC in the first playoff match. Where is the luck?
