This budget bullshit roster was the biggest "fuck you" in franchising.
Every other region pre-partnership got 10 slots, and LATAM, BR, NA were consolidated to 10 total.
This should have been good for the regions overall, combining top talent into fewer teams and making the whole region stronger (at least in the short term).
Instead of taking this time to put together the best possible roster, Fraud bankrupt org Clown9 had one of the best NA IGLs, and signed the best player in the world to show Riot that they were serious about the slot and deserved it over orgs like Optic and FaZe (+ nepotism from LoL)
They proceed to play 2 matches, and drop the 2 best players on the roster because of "role issues" (kkkkkkk surely that solved the issue🗿) and just collected a check for the slot AND they got away with it by honeymooning through regular season with the most lackluster roster in the region.
ALSO, they would have gotten grouped at Champions anyway and we would have looked just as shitty as EMEA with fraud representatives like NAVI and FUT who don't belong anywhere near an international event.
GG Rest in Piss fraud team, may Riot bless by taking your spot and giving it to an org that wants to win.
