Fatphobic is a term made up by terminally online twitter users who don't understand that being fat is unhealthy so decide to try and make fat a protected group. The reality is that being fat is like smoking, it is detrimental on your life but can be stopped with help

I think it depends on how these fears present themselves in your day to day, how you speak to yourself and others about food, fitness, and being healthy. I had a parent with the same fear for me and my siblings, they expressed it in a way that contributed to my older sister's eating disorder.
