I'm hearing rumours that he will retire next year to focus on streaming and watch parties. Is this true? I hope not. 1 more year plz! Back to back champs winner will be legendary
aylez [#2]if he retires at the end of the season, NA is truly doomed smadge
His team was Not even the top na team in Tokyo

Should take a cushy job at Sen, he gets money and a superteam easy

yeah but do you really trust momentum heavy teams to keep NA competitiveness up? I like EG but i really feel like they're going to fall off the moment their mental gets broken
meanwhile NRG is the only NA team at the top that can pride itself on high level macro gameplay and staunch preparation, remaining competitive with the best of the best internationally for 3 years now (throughout multiple metas).

nrg managed to leave tokyo with a 4th place placement, which isnt bad at all considering every one of their players was very underwhelming (except s0m) in terms of individual performance. either way, that should say a lot about NA’s igl quality and quantity, and what would happen if fns were to retire.
PrinceCharming [#8]I respect the belief that nrg somehow pulls champs out of their arse. But also without fns there's only like 2 igl's left across the entire game
I believe in Valyn as the only true successor to FNS
i'm pretty sure that 1) his contract goes until the end of 2024 and 2) it doesn't seem like he wants to retire based on the stuff he's said on s0m's stream (s0m joking abt retiring after champs and fenis saying smth like "you know in three months we'll both realize we hate ranked and go back to pro" but obv nothing is confirmed so shrugge
