Tier 2 Ascension viewership.
Peak:

Pacific: 186k
America: 120k
Emea: 114k

What happend to America tier 2? Emea wasnt even finals just groups. Wasnt america far ahead in viewership? Pacific peak viewers are crazy they got carried by Japanese viewers.

Probably because Americas has too many watch parties, and you don't even need rights to watch the games, does escharts count them all?
It should be way higher than 120 yesterday, tarik had like 60k, main twitch stream like 20k, ans there was ardiis with 5k, subroza, shanks, zombs, seangares, tmv, sliggy...
Pretty sure the viewers count got messed up because you don't need rights to stream it

Yes, in T1 since they're official watch parties where you need to apply for rights, in T2 you just have to open the stream and watch, so i doubt they were all counted

60k+20k thats 40k left. ardiis 5k-> 35k.
none of shanks zombs tmv sliggy sean are 5k andy's , the amount 120k fits perfectly well

pretty sure these are so far off considering M8 has a guy with 50K+ always watching, na has over 100K from 3 watch party’s and main stream, and i’m sure there is some huge creator in apac who streamed, i would say maybe in the 180K-280K ranges

Subroza shanks get 5k regularly, sliggy had 3k if i remember correctly, and those are only people i follow that i saw streaming the games, there could be other + YouTube and trovo streams.
I'm not saying 120k is 100% wrong, but it's hard to count every unofficial watch party

theres other region too who has good viewership not close to japan obviously but its shouldnt be only japan who gets respected. taiwan vietnam indonesia thailand together gets around 70k-80k. also the real carry is france because other than them its apek who had 26k peak viewership

EMEAs is still embarassing tbh, top 4 matches are all carried by M8, and the next one has 50k less viewers. Hope finals aren't dead if M8 don't make it

most japanese + asia viewers (including me) are asleep when Americas match are on? I've only watched 1 match of entire Americas ascension and that was M80 vs 9z, eventually decided to sleep instead because of the tech pause.

Asia bring so many new viewers from Content creator showmatch, on site watch party streamers from OCE/VN/TH/PH/INDO/INDIA/MYSG that were not previously involved b4.

to be honest america and emea t2 arent really intresting to me america has to less impactfull regions it only about na vs brazil while pacific is huge with growing scenes and emea is just frensh and spanish that has decent fanbases

add all of them up ~22k
40k-22k thats still a good 18k left after removing probably every big streamer. so yeah, the stats are accurate

and remember these are individual peaks, it might be that when shanks was getting 4k, subroza was only getting 5.1k

More like na vs na.. the other regions in America just aren't up to the standards yet
EMEA t2 teams are at rhe same level of bottom half of t1 EMEA.. not saying they're good just bottom half of t1 is bad

Americas matches happened at like 3 am for me

its bcs riot idiotic format. i mean we need a qualifier for major tournaments (old format), not a shitty partnership teams who can only attend for major tournaments. just look at how many viewers t2 teams on eu (polaris, dach, etc) , its like 100-300 max every match. riot basically killed their own viewership

the dickriding is crazy

If Union vs Guard final had happened the viewership would be a lot more but we got m80 v Guard which we have seen about 8 times.
