Is rito trying to kill this game?

Now that all of the important T2 games are over we have seen the disbanding of so many orgs and so much untapped talent without jobs in the pro scene because of the lack of games in the off season. With such a large group of players that are looking for competition in the fps genre and the release of cs2 this summer, riot is basically digging their own graves in the race for best competitive fps. Thoughts? Will there be an influx of pros flocking to cs2?
