koalanoob initially joined Ghost on a trial basis for NSG Summer Open #8, where they placed 3rd-4th. Ghost has been trialing players for the spot of Nathaniel "payen" Lopez, who has been inactive since early May.

This announcement marks koalanoob's first official addition to a sponsored Valorant team. In March, he joined Dignitas on a trial basis, but played only four matches with the team in the Nerd Street Gamers March Monthly before Dignitas announced that they would be releasing the roster at the end of the month. After Dignitas, koalanoob made appearances on various other teams, but did not remain on a single roster for more than a single tournament.
