BUT. Is he actually the best player in EG? I see people all the time saying he's the best and although it's true that he's the main duelist and he's incredible with both jett and brimstone, that he does what his team needs and he's so good at doing so, that before his addition to the starters EG was not looking so good an he turned their season around, I still think that it is unfair to put him a tier above his teammates.
As we've seen in Tokyo, in 2 of the 4 games EG played Demon1 was arguably the worst player from EG (although still incredible), JAWGEMO and C0M after not being very convincing in LA are POPPING OFF, BOOSTIO seems to give you 30 every map while being immaculate at IGLing, and Ethan is statistically the best player on the team.
I'd say their situation is very similar to FNATIC, but possibly even better since even the IGL can topfrag every given map. We all know it's impossible to point out a player from fnatic and say he's the best; I think the situation is the very same with EG. Can we talk less about Demon1 and more about EG? Give praises to all the players, not just 1, as they all have been incredible.
