Ullyr [#6]Unless the Korean teams in the pacific region start cooking more: get new korean tealents in challenger scene and practice midrounding. I hope Chinese teams can copy and antistrat EDG soon enough for champions.
you guys have some weird narrative that every korean team cannot midround. Sure some of the teams are rigid but not really at all lol. DPLUS, T1, MARU, SDC even SLT all had solid mid rounding if you ever watched them. Not all korean teams are execute heavy lol..... The #1 team most korean teams lack is quick micro adaptations and smart decision making consistently. And sometimes a confidence dip in their gameplay/aim.
Riot can easily help the teams here grow. Teams from Japan that have a lot of capital and can foster players and train them. Riot can step into the Japan scene and threaten the organizations to produce results or disband. There are so many Apex players. It is stupid to think that Japanese players can't outperform mechanically. They can, but they lack the motivation to do so. Shitty orgs from Japan would rather import mechanically gifted players rather than spend resources training them. And Riot isn't stopping this because Japan is a viewership powerhouse. The more menhera supporters ZETA get, the better it is for Riot. That's the kind of garbage company they are. Of course, Riot is giving priority to China league and treating it like it's sweet babygirl, and we all know why.
KaedeTsuneta [#10]Fun fact : Most of Russia and Turkey is in Asia
Most of their population lives in Europe

That's why I dislike current franchaise system. It improved the quality of matches, but making less chance for smaller countries to have chances for big stage.
Niyah [#9]Except for csgo and now valorant, fps in Asia is not weak

to be fair out of all of those teams only T1 is actually good and 4 of their players spent the last 2 years competing in NA

CR Ras/Mondo/Selly can play Valo really well.
When Valo first come out Ras was amazing at Jett, Mondo can OP (from CR cup), and selly wingman/sheriff shots r great. Oh right JP not Korean

I was just trying to make the point that mid rounding problems are a DRX issue not the entire korean scene. Some of these teams arent good ur right but their mid rounding is better. Their decision making is just terrible and positioning too.
