So after the news of the chamber buff (thank you saadhak), i feel like its not enough to truly make him valuable again, so here are some buffs that i believe could make him more playable.

  • 1 - Take away the slow effect his sniper and alarm have on allies. for retaking or reacting they bring an unnecessary nerf to allies.
  • 2 - steadilly increase the radius of his tp (until the sweet spot)
  • 3 - make him able to tp without needing to be grounded, it could allow him to make awesome info plays that would elevate his skill ceiling.
  • 4 - add the slow effect after kills to his pistol, but in a way smaller radius. (would reward good aim properly)
  • 5 - give his pistol a second zoom

any ideas youd might like to add?

Agree with most except for eliminating the slow effect on the alarm. It already is bad enough, taking the slow away would render it useless.

5 is unnecessary, a good buff can be they bringing back the 2 traps since it's already nerfed to the ground he could be more like a sentinel this way

idk about the slow effect on pistol, thats way too strong, especially with how easy and forgiving the headhunter is.

i think they should revert the slow changes back to what it was (bigger radius and longer duration if i remember correctly)

agree with aerial-tp

dont know about gradual tp radius increase (might be a big no-no!)

agree with taking away slow effect of sniper and alarmbot on allies

add 2 trips back

I think the biggest issue with chamber TP was the frequency not only how strong it was. If chamber TP range can be reverted fully and you either put it on a timer that reflects two to three max TPs per round or you give him two solid charges on the TP, that wouldn’t be oppressive. Make his trip the signature in the case of limited charges on TP.

the main point is that you would need to kill the opponent with the pistol in order to get the effect, since a bullet is 150, and it takes 3 bodyshots to kill, you would be paying at minimum 450 for a slow, or 900 for 6 slows (if you are really good), which considering Sage's slows are 200 each and can be thrown whenever, it would balance him out but still give him a reason to be played.

from my point of view it would make defending on pistol rounds and eco's easier, since it would allow for the pistol to be used long range as a marshall, that combined with the psitol slow effect would allow him to be more effective when defending without being an OP crutch

how so? it would allow him to do peeks (without shooting) and getting info without being rushed to hell. or for example Haven A heaven, he could jump off and tp as he sees someone bellow. he could still be punished if quick enough but would allow for alot more ways for the tp to be used.

hmm idk, the idea just seems insane that a one man advantage at the start of the round is already big enough, and creating a slow effect to further stop the execute is even stronger

well it could be tweaked so it only takes effect if the kill is a headshot?
maybe up the psitol to 10 bullets but each bullet is 200?

yeah i agree with those changes, i often rack up way too many chamber bullets without even realizing 😅
