4. Chinese valo isn't as bad as most people think, the region is overall better than some that had direct slots pre-franchising (e.g. JP, Latam)

Yeah hopefully they improve quickly, especially after being given the opportunity to compete against the best of the world directly.
I've got high hopes thought, cause the influx of new teams and players in China is very rapid

The top 3/4 teams are really good, edg would have qualified to Tokyo even if they played in EMEA/Pacific/Americas.
They definitely deserve the spot
