cs is unique in terms of esports because its mainstream but still has a really long history,it was established by the community and kept alive by it trough out all these years despite valve not giving a fuck about it,you cant replicate a community like cs anymore,the history and passion for the game just runs way deeper than any other mainstream game
You never really explain what makes cs community better than league or any other esport other than."its old and mainstream".
cs wasn't remotely main stream before csgo came out the viewership numbers were tiny.
the only thing I agree with are fans being passionate and the game having a lot of history largely due to being old.
val isn't like that due to
- the game's esport scene is literally like 3 years old
- most val players are playing an fps for the first time and are watching esports for the first time as well.
3.the fan base is a lot more casual for the above reasons but within the next 5 years the games fan base will be leagues better than today
cs fans are more passionate than val fans will ever,cs scene has a extremely deep history for a esports that no other esports matches,that is the difference, and that makes the fans and players way more passionate about the game and its history aswell,valorant is just another popular game like ow,you see how that game died just because the devs didn't care
cs having a deep history has no fucking correlation on whether val will have a passionate fanbase or not.
infact val already has fans that are just as passionate as cs except the numbers are very small in comparison as the scene is new and the players are still very casual in comparison to cs.all it needs is time and nothing else.
league had very casual fans at the start as well just like val and today has one of the most passionate fanbases of any esport

cs already changed the mechanics slightly and even a lot muliple times and they change a bit again with cs2 lmao,and ur just straight up objectively wrong again,when cs source was released a lot of people didnt like it back then but instead of quitting the game they just played 1.6 still,and at the start of GO the game and mechanics were garbage and people still played trough that,also val target audience isnt really far away from ow theres no way ur saying val community is "way more passionate" lol
