Why BO1s are trash

BO1s are the worst way of playing a group stage of competition. You dont get a chance to bounce back from a map that you maybe didnt play the best on, or get a feel for what the opposing team is going to play like. Unless youre gonna play a group stage with each team playing each other 2 times, BO1s are the worst way to play a group stage.

That's how most group stages are played, people still have a chance in the lower round. As teams are informed of their matchup before hand they get plenty of time to readjust and prepare for the game. I don't think BO1's reflect how skilled a team is, but that doesn't mean the group format is flawed.

The thing is with BO1 in europe its about time and money its just easier to keep it simple.. Valorant in europe doesn't have the amout of money that na got yet but they will most likely switch over to bo3 longer in to the games progression.

This makes sense. But I think viewership wise, with the general way that EU teams play as compared to NA teams, BO1s are just not enjoyable to me. BO1s when playing a more puggy style like how EU teams play is just not fun to watch, because each round feels like the same as the last.
