The move marks the return of ausrhino and kronicx to Kanga. The duo competed together on the organisation's Paladins team, qualifying for the Paladins World Championship in 2018 and 2019. ausrhino was also briefly a member of Kanga during his time in Overwatch.

OverPalaStrike placed 9th-12th in the ORDER Oceanic Open after falling to GVNG GVNG Inactive Myth Matthew Tarnawskyj pyua Zhii Nozz Noah McClafferty Klockzy Lachlan Burke (now FURY FURY Inactive ) 2-0 in the lower bracket of Group B. They were one of the first two teams to qualify for the Rise of Valour Play-In Stage.
