am I just bad or is the sheriff inconsistent

im probably just bad tbh, but dont you ever feel like you should have headshot the guy but it doesn't hit. then u try spamming but not rlly spamming cuz of recoil reset and none of the bullets hit. I'm probably just ass though, so can people give tips

skill issue

hop into DM sheriff only, if someone's not looking at you, take your time with first shot, if you miss, let them kill you, if you're fighting someone, only shoot after they've taken the first shot, builds discipline which is necessary for sheriff

never ever spam with the sheriff

maybe you dont wait enough before you shoot after moving
try recording your games if you can and just look at what you did wrong
practicing sheriff with movement in the range and doing sheriff only dms helped me a lot when i was trying to get better at sheriff

Probably a skill issue, there is first bullet inaccuracy but it shouldn't be the reason you miss every time. As for spamming, enable shooting error graph and go to the practice range. Try seeing how fast you can shoot the gun without error number going higher than 0.25, find a steady pace and get used to it
