Fella; different culture, different mindset. We can move past that. What's normal to you, potentially isn't normal/comfortable to others.
Also, please be respectful.

like i said the r word is used on greece on a daily basis but if it really offends someone im not gonna use it, i just want to try to get behind the reasoning as to why its considered such a bad word, calling someone auti**** is the same exact thing no?

More or less context within the English language, iirc. More often than none, in English, the word is more used as an abuse/degrading context, often in a mocking/sinister tone. Same with the other word. Both are used in a bad/toxic context meant to harm the person.

In australian englisg it's also used very frequently. But the more we understand about being a decent person the less we use it. Because it has negative connotations.

i think u confused my point, first of all let me say again that if someone is really offended by the R word i dont mind not saying it, but im just confused as to why it is treated so differently from the auti**** word, since both are almost always used in the same context, why is one considered a slur and one is just a word
