I got a bonus for work and I game on a laptop rn. If I sell my laptop I will lose about 100 dollars. I want to build a desktop but is it worth selling my laptop and going through the hassle of building a desktop?

bro at this point, building a pc/desktop isnt special anymore. There is a lot of tutorial out there where u can make it.

if I were you i wouldn't worry about playing with a good pc. As long as you have a decent pc(just think is your game running smoothly- also if you are above 40ish fps i think you are ok) you should be fine. You are a student with a job so I think since you should study first and then worry about gaming later. Ngl, you should spend ur money on other things
