imma be real bro, you honestly dodged a bullet. Almost all degrees are worth the same unless its a super ivy league ass school to employers. when you pay for college, your paying for the culture of the school you live at. do yourself a favor and go somewhere cheap so you can graduate with as little debt as possible. I got into NYU but they didn't give me any financial aid, and Im so glad I didn't just take a huge ass loan, knowing what I know now

Also if you really want to go to a top tier school you can go there for grad school, it’s not always necessary but it’s a route you can take. You definitely don’t need a degree from a top Ivy League or so school to be successful tho

You can do community college for 2 years and graduate from public school and employers arent going to care compared to someone who went to private school for all 4 years
It's more about what you do while you're in school, as far as internships and what kind of portfolio you can put together

Yeah that’s what my mom did
hey it’s all good man, a degree from a specific college doesn’t matter unless it’s law from an ivy or any other degree from a top 10 college. more than likely employers don’t really know what college is better than others once you get below the top 15 schools, and college is really about making connections rather than using that degree to find a job. you’ll be okay, just go to a college that fits your lifestyle.

Also some states have phenomenal state schools as well which are easier to get into as well as cheaper too

Be prepared for life to fuck you over while in college. I was hospitalized multiple times while in college, and ended up failing 2 semesters and got NOTHING back when I tried getting a refund due to my health. I'm lucky I had the support of my family to help me get back on my feet (I'm still trying honestly). So make sure you go to someplace where you can have a safety net, whether its close to home so your family/friends can help if you're close or a community college or other cheap place that you can work while you learn and save up money yourself.
hey man. I understand you pain. I also went through this and let me tell you it doesnt always make sense. i got rejected by multiple low ranked unis but got accepted into a higher ranked uni. My friend got rejected by NEU but got into UCSD. I know its difficult to be positive right now, but trust me something big is coming your way.

Yeah that’s my state school, I’m glad I even got in tbh. It’s where I’ll probably go and I’m happy with that! My family’ll be nearby in case shit happen and while I’m sad that happened to you, I’m glad that you were able to recover. Thank you for your advice!
