tokyo and LA for the next locations is huge
but still only 3 tourneys a year with the first one really just being a glorified showmatch is some shit
Please riot, just give a decent format, it can't be this difficult

the format for tokyo is rumored to be a 12 team playoffs bracket with cross-regional matchups and a lower bracket. #1 in each region is automatically placed in the second tier of the bracket, and no group stage which is different from other events.

Tokyo gonna be the same format as every other masters event in 2022. Not really the worst structure minus the #1 seedings.

LA for Champs will still prob be a decent format.

LOCKIN is a one time tourney show/exhibition to show off the 30 franchise teams, we will likely get 2 masters a year next year and every other following year (not confirmed but it'd make sense)
