The same old script, DRX looks insane, makes it to the top 4, and then chokes. It's just painful now
There is a catch..because it's a BO5 we are gonna see more maps played probably. And both DRX and Loud haven't shown that many maps with LLL showcasing Split Pearl and Fracture more while DRX showcased Haven Ascent and to an extent Icebox more. So we have to see how it pans out. And yes you are right DRX is a very heavy prep team but they have to show equal amounts of Adaptability if they are to fight a very strong team like Loud. I hope the series is a banger and both teams play very well
In the same way that LOUD is working hard to play against DRX? lol it's not just the team you support that does anti-tactics and works to win, Ange1 himself said that LOUD has the best compositions in the tournament, everyone says they want to have scrims with LOUD, and in the last worlds LOUD swept the DRX by 2-0, even with Sacy and Pancada LOUD leaving, will still win DRX
"past wasn't even a year ago"
look at what happened to SEN, Gambit, ACEND, and FPX. you can't just assume they will win the whole thing based on their past achievement, even though its not even that long. anything could happen in a match between top 4 teams, mine just happens to be DRX, and yours LOUD.
trust your team, like I do with mine, but just don't bring past achievement as a nail in the coffin.
ppl only see the result. drx getting destroyed at pearl cuz pearl is c9 arguably best map and they already saw them play, its easy to counter the enemy if u already comfortable on the map.
"but drx also saw c9 played pearl" the thing is pearl is not drx comfortable map. look at what happen on haven and icebox esp on icebox it looks like c9 didn't prepare to play this map at all.
just because C9 got demolished on 3rd map doesn't necessarily mean they are garbo, especially when haven and icebox are both a comfy pick for DRX
C9 is still a good team, put them against any other team, they may or may not win against them (still have a chance). Basically, don't judge them based on that particular match alone.
