i'd love to see what sick can do on sova, cause he has said that he's the most fun agent in the game.
we've seen him on sova on like icebox but i want to see him on a main role, which lets shahz + tenz play duelists. 1 issue i can see however is them losing entry power cuz sick is top 3 entry in na right now
good player imo but hes put onto the mega support role in sentinels. Dapr allowed to be aggro attack side/lurk for kills --> Shahz sova/jett which the ladder just leads naturally to higher ACS--> Tenz duelist and allowed to do whatever he wants --> Sick Duelist/battle sage which leads to high acs = zombs support player on omen/astra playing anchor on sites not being stacked
He's good utility player and 100% frags out when needed just playing in one of those positions that doesn't allow big frags compared to the rest of his team. Other pro like this is zacharee
As I said, it all comes down to what team he joins. For example, let's suppose Team A needs a guy who can frag out and Team B needs a player who can contribute to the team and its playstyle. Team A should get a player like TenZ since they are already good on the fundamentals of the game, they just need some more kills on the board. Team B on the other hand, should get someone other than TenZ since they most likely have fraggers but need some work to have a definitive playstyle and teamwork
Stupidest post ever like how are you supposed to judge that he plays to his own benefit. WELL TENZ HAS THE MOST KILLS WHEN THE REST OF HIS TEAM IS DOING HORRIBLE THAT MUST MEAN HE IS PLAYING FOR HIMSELF. Sintraa is the most overrated player ever he was sentinels 4th best player. Without TENZ and SEN still had sinatraa they would have probably been like 4th place in masters they were constantly underperforming
Tenz has a tendency to have people play towards his benefit which is detrimental to teams as a whole imo. With sinatraa this team was so much more balanced and flexible especially on Haven their former best map where he was one of most dangerous sovas in the world and they practically never lost. Now they lose haven against every team essentially. I don't think its a problem with Tenz per say but more so with one trick Jett players that restrict the teams ability to be flexible across multiple maps. I know Tenz played Raze on split but his Raze has no where near the same impact as Sinatraa this is fact pretty much. Shazam is pretty much just as good with the OP as Tenz is so forcing him on Sova you pretty much have to perform. I know people like to point and compare KDAs but Tenz is becoming the center focus of Sentinels and is literally playing duelist on every map compared to Sinatraa playing sova/raze. 100t was once again ahead of the NA meta and got rid of their one trick jett in order to be more consistent, stable , and flexible as a team.
tl;dr: sinatraa>tenz
This is top tier armchair analyst speculative crap, you're not on SEN you have zero idea how they plan and play the game
Don't blame everything on tenz, it is never as simple as just one member. All you can say is that if SEN does lose to T1 today, SEN has fallen off dramatically after winning Master 1, which honestly isn't that surprising. Just look at Faze/Geng, look at 100T post first strike. Teams are hungry af, they are catching up, the NA scene is volatile, it is hard to always stay on top
where in my post did i say the fault is only on tenz...
edit: also, the argument that you can't understand how a team plays by only watching is probably the most boring and laziest response to any criticism to a team. Of course you can understand how a team plays by watching their games thoroughly this is something people say to avoid criticism and leads to 0 analysis to be done. It does not matter what the players say if they play one way and act another. If you want to be boring ->we can't analyze any team cause "muh cant know how they play" . If you want discussion ->watch their games and analyze/discuss
Obviously we can't know everything but we can definitely know enough
i feel like right now, shaz is trying plug tenz into that entry role that sinatraa always did. now im not saying tenz is bad by all means, but sinatraa was literally known for being so fearless, charging in, and literally getting a pick or two and then being traded out. and i feel like shaz plugged tenz into that role but as of now, he isn't that successful. this isn't a knock on tenz or shahzam, but sintatraa was just a lot better at entrying imo. i also don't think that tenz is necessarily holding them back bc he's a one trick jett or duelist, i think teams are now getting good reads on sentinels. also a lot of sentinel's game plan is like counter stratting and shaz being able to plan out against their opponent. but when you play teams like andbox and t1 who have newer teams and not as many vods, it's harder to prep against and shaz won't be able to do as much yk
no. he isn't a bad entry fragger at all. I mean look at his first bloods throughout his time in Sentinels. I don't think him not able to find entrys is the problem. I mean if you watched the Haven game he was literally sacrificing himself dashing into the site every time they executed. I do think that the roles need to be fixed. I don't think he is even close to being the level of Raze player that sinatraa was. I think they should put him on Reyna where he is so much more comfortable and have more played hours on.
I think the major problem was TenZ playing Raze. He is not at all a good Raze player. I mean there is no point in comparing him to sinatraa as a Raze player. imo he should have played Reyna on both icebox and split. He is not at all comfortable with Raze utility. He seems unaware of what he can get away with being a Raze. He goes for plays that only a jett or reyna can get away with when playing Raze. Look how much more comfortable he was on Jett in Haven. He has much more play time on Reyna. So he knows the angles and plays that he could make while playing her. Also his play style doesn't suit Raze at all. also I don't think thats the only problem for Sentinels. They seem to be sloppy in postplants and unaware of lurks. Also they rarely have setups on defense. They were playing such a readable style on both attack and defense. They need to start coming up with new strats. There is so much footage of them doing the same things.
