Worst Review of the Year
crashhacker1 [#5]this is how I know its a good game, ignoring woke fucks, most of streamers who played elden ring, god of war, dark souls are now enjoying playing hogwarts legacy. and I can guarantee there is no overlap between that crowd and the crowd that believes or writes these reviews.
is it good enough for people who don't care about harry potter?
Pogtestic [#8]Why does everyone hate the game and jk rowling so much any1 know
She is openly against trans people and donates to anti trans "charities", also some people said that she claimed all revenue from Hogwarts Legacy would go to anti trans charities but I've not checked. Also there are claims of antisemitism due to how the goblins are portrayed, but shes never openly said anything about that so unproven.

OmG SENpaii HogWaRtS lEgAcY games shouldnt be judged because of politics This game is a W and nobody can take away the hardwork devs had put in it but jk rowling is an big L as far as I know this game had nothing with jkrowling or her views against trans but idk whats the main cause of outrage it was anticipated since its first leak
Pogtestic [#8]Why does everyone hate the game and jk rowling so much any1 know
not everyone. 0.00001% of people who may or may not have mental illnesses half the time
FIyingDoggoWoweeClap10 [#4]THIS GAME IS LITERALLY ZELDA RIVAL FOR GOTY LMAO

Zelda Hogwarts Starfield and some other games can be all GOTY this year is stacked
cocoluna [#26]Zelda Hogwarts Starfield and some other games can be all GOTY this year is stacked
Starfield...
hanafuuji [#20]honestly the game is mid, maybe I'm not that much of a harry potter fan, also who tf actually cares about a game journalist article, half of them can't even play a game 🗿
agree 100%
Frogzay [#22]sounds like she’s correlating her opinions of J.K. Rowling onto the game, then started repeating that the game felt “lifeless” for the rest of the article, repeating her reasons for thinking this over and over throughout the article. 0/10 review, my 9 year old sister could’ve done better
J.K. Rowling is da GOAT
joellogic [#25]I've been playing since yesterday on my PS5 and the game is freaking awesome so far.
it huuuuge.....
and everywhere you go you find something.
Im not far into the story so far but it really interesting up until now!
just ordered it for ps5, what would you recommend which graphic setting to play on? they all look good especially the raytracing one, and i cant decide which to plan to play on
brobeans [#33]funny part is the game is woke
indeed, rowling's own woke fans turned against her.
first they pressured her to introduce a gay character in harry potter so she made dumbledore gay.
now since rowling said she doesnt support the medical transition of minors they are trying to cancel her.

if you have a vrr screen you should be more than fine. the game runs really good in my expirience

No one pressured her to make Dumbledore gay. She revealed he was gay in 2007 way before any "woke movement" or "agendas".

bro you have to be kidding, how can you say there were no woke agendas in 2007? and clearly in the books the sexuality of dumbledore seems irrelevant.

there were no woke agendas. Same-sex marriages were legalised in 2014 and 2015 in most contemporary western countries.
Now coming to the books, the sexuality of Dumbledore was irrelevant but each character had their own storyline.
As a reader of the books I can think of multiple points which vaguely pointed towards his sexuality
Dumbledore is never mentioned in context with a woman. He’s a bachelor without anyone mentioning any kind of history with a woman. While this wasn't indicative of his sexuality, it does provide some subtext.
Dumbledore wears highly coloured and contrasting clothes. Again, in the UK, there is a specific association of flamboyance with being gay.
The most telling indication of his sexuality was their relationship with Grindelwald in the Deathly Hallows book
There was no protest or activism regarding the sexuality of the characters during this time.JK Rowling herself had self-conceptualised that Dumbledore was ought to be gay after she published the book in 2007. Keep in mind that the book was drafted and conceptualised much earlier than that.
