100t Stellar, "NRG look even better with ardiis, in my opinion."

Steel has mentioned how innovative they are;

Shahz/Dapr sing them praises on stream; pros on twitter are unrelentingly stroking them off to completion.

A few days ago even Geddes hopped his stream soapbox to relay insider info from a certain coach that has been scrimming NRG, asserting a sentiment similar to this—that NRG look better than Optic.

idk about you but i think NRG might be win their first match vs KOI

Yay and marved are just different, I’m sticking with this until I see s0m or Ardiis overtake them individually

Not really. Imagine NA without OpTic. OpTic had no competition outside of LOUD and DRX. EMEA aka the region with most success until that point missed their 2 best teams (Fnatic were better than G2 before lower-final). It was also really optimal meta for both FPX and Fnatic, G2 didn't even have proper Jett player. Even Liquid the 4th seed EMEA made it to playoffs and finished same as The Guard.

That is true, but doesn't take away from the fact that EMEA were only represented by their 3rd and 4th best teams.

yo moron, what did emea have besides FPX in champs? if you’re gonna say “well emea had 3 teams in playoffs” that is such a negligible point and it was a coin flip to whether fnatic would beat 100T or not

Outside of FPX, even when all EMEA teams were there, none of them even got even 3rd place.

i think Optic and LOUD being 1st and 2nd place at M1 AND Champs PROVES that M1 wasn't a fluke for either team

They weren't bad, but both FPX and Fnatic were likely top 5 teams(fighting for 1st) itw at the time based on their level, especially when back then PRX wasn't considered top level team. Masters 1 was pretty much just OpTic vs LOUD vs DRX vs TheGuard vs G2 from which TheGuard and G2 were expected to choke and underperform. FPX won Masters 2 and Masters 1 meta was arguably even stronger for them. FPX's and Fnatic's map pools were shit in Champs because of Pearl.

Bro u are so on the cope it's unreal. You provide excuses like their map pool was bad when that is one of the fundamentally most important parts of a teams success at events. They deserved to lose when your not good on the new map, especially since the new maps are always played at these international events a lot. Not to mention the first part about how you think they were arguably best itw before ever performing well in international events. FNC missed out on international events for 9 months straight, and FPX had never even made a LAN and this mf wanted to say there were best itw. Actual delusion. And you just add random bs abt G2 when "at that time" they diffed tf out of FNC in EMEA. Yet they were somehow expected to choke which is just an excuse because LOUD beat tf out of G2 and then lost to Optic. Therefore making the 2nd best EMEA team "at the time" not even close to level of the two teams at the final.

Again I'm talking about Masters 1 Reykjavik 2022 only mentioning Masters 2 and Champions. Their map pools were shit and that lost them the tournament, that was bad from them. Even tho its impossible to know how other teams and region play on new maps and its all big gamble and depends on regional teams.

And FPX and Fnatic were 100% some of the best in the world what are you talking about? Watch their gameplay and the fact that they placed 1st and 3rd(looked like 2nd best before upper and lower-final) in EMEA. Also FNC literally played in Champions 21 so I don't know what you are talking about and FPX had never made a LAN, but again they went to Masters 2 as their first Valorant LAN and won it while playing groups with a stand-in. Nothing shows that they wouldn't have performed in M1.

Also G2 didn't diff Fnatic by any means. Fnatic looked like shit in their lower final game likely because they knew that Braveaf wouldn't be able to attend and they would have to play with a stand-in, it was braindead from them, they even got rolled by FPX likely because of same reason. While G2 peaked during that time when Meddo and Avova finally decided to play. You can see how massive difference those 2 especially made compared to groups etc. Mediocre/inconsistent players who step up in playoffs, almost happened in LCQ as well. Like I remember thinking how G2 will not perform as well even before the tournament because as I said they peaked in lowers and it was clear as day.

still just using delusional conjecture that your making up. "likely" this and that idgaf. I know for a fact G2 curb stomped regular roster FNC in EMEA and then GOT curb stomped internationally. FPX had shown flashes of brilliance since 2020 but always choked, so why would I have faith they were a top team itw. Anyone who has followed EMEA valorant for a long time knows that. They were great teams but stating they were fighting over best itw is not founded in logic or evidence.
You clearly just refuse to give credit to Optic for being a top 2 team last year because it is unarguably between Optic and LOUD. They dominated their regions, Optic placed first, then third, then second and LOUD placed second, lost to optic in groups, then first. If FPX or FNC were as good as Optic then they would have performed better at champs, the most important tournament of the entire year. Optic has consistently placed top 3 for a year straight ( 3 international events straight) and even placed second at berlin in 2021. Optic goes to 5 events gets 2, grouped, 1,3,2. FNC goes to 5 events gets 2, 5-8, grouped,4,6. No argument really Optic is the best pre-franchise team in valorant history and always will be.
