Interesting article about the boosting industry

I stumbled upon an article about boosting in competitive games like Valorant.
While I think boosting isn't really a positive thing (similar to smurfing), they do have a point there in the post. If you happen to have a friend who boosts you - it levels the playing field for those who don't have such connections. Also, it is a better alternative than cheating and their existence can actually bring attention to game developers to actually implement measures to prevent cheating, smurfing, and boosting.

they are implementing smurf queue , i think boosting and smurfing will be harder, fuck cheaters of course
