Minus the baits, everyone fears Fnatic. Mini has formed a roster that includes:

  1. Best Duelist - Derke
  2. Most promising youngster - Alfajer
  3. Top 3 igl - Boaster
  4. Undeniably the best initiator - Leo
  5. Best flex player in the world - Chronicle

Fun fact: Chronicle has 200 average ACS in every agent played (12)

Haven't been this excited for a roster with superstars in a while and we got to see a glimpse without chronicle in Superdome.

Sentinels and Clown9 are going to be huge disappointments.

100T and NRG are taking top spots

Im very glad youre excited to watch Fnatic disappoint internationally for the 15th tournament in a row

I am excited too, keeping my fingers crossed that this is the last event that I have to see b0tster make a fool out of your dog shit region before he gets dropped back to VRL where he belongs

Boaster will definitely not be better than Vanity

Fnatic might be better than C9 (the 4th best of 5 NA teams), but its not going to be because of Boaster

vanity more overhyped igl.

  • flopped in 2022
  • kicked xeta for curry
  • failed to adapt to chamber meta

c9 have a super squad, if they fail to do much now its most likely down to the igl

a) I dont care about Vanity
b) its not a super squad, Xeppa, Zellsis, and leaf are middle of the pack NA players.

I know that might seem crazy considering they shit on EMEA talent, but there are better options for each available

c) They had mitch wtf did you want xd

yay needs to backpack this team for them to be good, top 4 NA for sure

Well he clearly didn’t do a very good job at it then cause they didn’t get too far

Guild placed 1st in their group and then got eliminated by both PRX and FPX aka the finalists. And they had Russ on their roster who had the lowerst ACS of any player in that tourney. Obviously Leo didn't carry because it was good performance from all Sayf, Trexx and Leo and Koldamenta wasn't doing bad for IGL. But Guild did well in Copenhagen and could have fought for higher places if they got the chance.

In summary: they lost, yeah Leo is a very good player with lots of potential, but no, by absolutely no metric can he be considered one of the best in the world. This whole argument derives once again from this Eurocentric view that just because a player does one well in EMEA that means he’s better than all of the international competition, and as we’ve seen with Fnatic as a whole, this just doesn’t hold true

Leo is one of the best initiators in the world no question. He has been best or 2nd best in EMEA for long time and did well in Copenhagen as well only choking last game.

If you say anything else you are underrating Leo like crazy. He is one of the best players in EMEA and top 2 if not the best initiator here. Ask any pro, coach, talent etc. Also EMEA as a whole has been the best region internationally and being the most competitive regionally so you can def rate EMEA players well based on regional success.
