in league/dota coaches are responsible for pick/ban which is important, but in fps games how important is the coach role? (during game)

They quite literally coach the teams. They think up strats and counter strats. They review vods along with igl and fix mistakes. They literally do everything u expect a coach to do

if a team loses a game in dota/league, half the time people will say " lost from draft", " coach fault" but ive never seen anyone blaming the coach in fps games

Sliggy(ex Liquid coach) used to get flamed bunch of times because of Liquid's comps. And I've seen people blaming Mini as well for Fnatic's failures.
